An Hourglass of Love

Every time I photograph a couple, I try to create more than just images. I want to give them an experience—something meaningful they can hold onto beyond the photos.

During this engagement session, I pictured the couple filling an hourglass with their own sands. Before they began, I asked them to reflect on the reasons they love one another and the choice they’ve made to spend their lives together.

As they poured the sand, I imagined each grain carrying a promise, a laugh, a memory—everything that makes their love story uniquely theirs.

My hope is that, years from now, if they ever face challenges or moments of doubt, they can look at that hourglass and remember the love that first brought them together.

This is why I love what I do—capturing not just photos, but symbols of love that last a lifetime.
